    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is an eye-opening course, that teaches you to think like an auditor. For an accounting major, this is a different side of the traditional accounting careers out in the real work force. Professor McConnell keeps the subject interesting with real cases of fraud and the controls that are now in place to help detect and further prevent it.

    Course highlights:

I learned that an auditor's job is to always work with professional skepticism in mind.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Write everything down! Even the small things that you don't think will be significant. A lot of the test revolves around the things we talk about in class
