    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I give this class 3 stars, simply because it is a necessary evil for a business degree. This class was the bane of my existence my last semester. It sucked the life right out of me, but it taught me something very valuable. There are going to be things in business and in life that you despise, but sometimes you just have to wade through muck to get to the other side.

    Course highlights:

With this course I learned not only the material in the textbook, but how to apply said material. It is one thing to simply memorize a problem or definition. It is another thing altogether to comprehend what these things mean in a logical sense/

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

For success in this class, do not be afraid to ask for help. Go to the tutoring sessions, speak with the teacher after class. Do whatever you have to in order to understand the material, because in statistics many of the problems tend to correlate. If you don't understand something early on chances are it will come back to haunt you in another lesson.

    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Very insightful - I learned so much about statistics and how to apply them in psychological research. I am so glad Dr. Dougall teaches it the way she does.

    Course highlights:

Learning real world applications, as well as the SPSS statistical package was very helpful. Plus, Dr. Dougall was wonderful.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the reading and participate as much as you can in lab. Always ask questions if you're unsure about something. Be detail oriented, and try to have fun with it. Remind yourself that these skills will be valuable to have in the future.
