    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This provides a good foundation for assessment of patients. Dr. Dumbrowski is very intelligent and dedicated to his course. This course was difficult but it IS possible to do well especially when you seek help from the professor and the academic learning center

    Course highlights:

I gained a wealth of knowledge about assessing patients. The tests were very difficult but I eventually learned that I had to READ the book and not just depend on lectures and clinicals to do well on his tests.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study tips include READING the book a few times, learning to pay attention to the tiny details in the boxes.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It's a requirement. For RN to BSN or MSN completion students it is not optional

    Course highlights:

I learned a few new assessment models, but overall a waste of time.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your assessment assignment before the quiz, as it's a great way to study for your weekly quiz without reading every word in the assigned chapters. The videos are not necessary to complete the course at all but the text is essential. I'm not sure I would waste a lot of time watching the videos again.
