    She is just an overall great instructor. She knows her art history for sure

    Course highlights:

    Personally, I adore modern art, so when we arrived to that part of syllabus I enjoyed it

    Course Overview:

    Beth Wright does a great job in making a hard topic to learn very enjoyable. Art history can sometimes be boring and hard to stay focused but going to this class once you never want to miss any days with Wright.

    Course highlights:

    Learning all the different art styles in this section was fun and they way they were taught made them really stick with you so you wont forget about them.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Study what each piece of art is, the styles and the artist everyday. If you refresh your mind everyday with all these artworks it makes life so much easier to not forget anything.

    Prof. Mitchell has an infectious enthusiasm for art history, and makes it enjoyable even if art history isn't inherently exciting to you.

    Course highlights:

    I learned a lot of strange factoids about what particular works of art *really* mean.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Make flashcards of the artworks! It helps so much for memorization.
