    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

MAVS 1000 started out in my mind as one of those courses that I was required to take that was going to be pointless in the long run, but it turned out to be an extremely helpful class. I was able to meet new people, tour campus, and learn about traditions UTA has. Without this class, it would have been much more difficult for me to transition to the college atmosphere.

    Course highlights:

The number one highlight of this course was the central library tour. Without a tour guide, I probably would never have made it to all six floors of our library. Not only did we explore the floors of the library, but all of the student services located in the library were explained and made available to us.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not discredit this course just because it is a freshman requirement. You will certainly appreciate it in the future.
