    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course has been very important when going further in the engineering program. I have noticed that every class I have taken in the previous semester requires the student to have at least a basic understanding of calculus and I feel like Professor Smith did a very good job in teaching this course.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course would definitely have to be the fact that I could actually follow along with the instructor. Professor Smith explained even the hardest sections such as optimization with ease.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

DO THE HOMEWORK. It is actually very helpful since some of the ideas involved in calculus require practice to understand.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Math for me is difficult, but as a science major, I have to push through it. I don't recommend taking it if its not required or for the joy of math. I do recommend working hard in classes and finding something you do enjoy about them.

    Course highlights:

Limits and integrals, and that the school has great people in the math lab to help out with difficult material.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make time to study, make friends with people in the course to study with, and ask the professor for help.
