    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I have learned how amazing everything is in art. I have taken a new appreciation for all the artworks I now come across.

    Course highlights:

I learned a deep history of artworks and how the artists came to be. My favorite part was to be able to see each artwork and learn the intricate details about it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes!! And do not cram for the exams - that never works! Study a little bit throughout the week and you should be fine when it comes to exam time.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Although this course is highly informative, it contains no information imperative to students who are not majoring in art history. Although I passed the class without thoroughly studying for the complex exams, I was struggling throughout the course for it as well. Although the professor is really nice, I feel like I did not gain anything from the course in the long run. Because if this, I would not recommend this course to anyone.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about different rulers from different parts of the world who were in power during the time of the Renaissance. I also learned about different movements in the art world throughout history and the qualities that different artists employed during these eras. There are different qualities that artwork possessed during the Renaissance or Rococo periods, and by knowing these, you can determine the approximate date that a piece of art was created,

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't take it unless you really care about art or history. Taking it myself was definitely an experience, but not necessarily one I would wish for anyone else. Try to find another way to get your art credit; this one may not be worth it.
