    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Physics is very helpful as it helps you make sense of phenomena going all around you. Simple things make so much more sense, and of course the best part is that physics can be applied to games.

    Course highlights:

The main highlight was when you went away from kinematics and towards work and energy because not only were the calculations simpler, but it made more sense than kinematics. You will learn about kinetic energy - 1/2 mv^2 and conservation of momentum in this course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend students to work out a lot of practice problems. If you know all of the scenarios for physics then on the exam you will know what to do. Also I would recommend not only reading the book, but I would recommend working the examples in the book and getting a solutions manual to check your work.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you're good at math and logic, or are confident that you can improve your math and logic skills, go ahead and take Dr. Slinker. If you are horrible at Math and open-ended Physics word problems, you should take someone else. If you can't do the Physics problems involving math, you'll probably fail.

    Course highlights:

I learned that I am horrible at Physics and will have to retake the course. The highlights are that if you can make at least 40-50's on his exams you will at least get a D in his course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are not good at the sciences, put all your effort into Physics.
