    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Background knowledge and intensive reading and long online hws

    Course highlights:

I learned about new elements added to the periodic table as a fun fact. The course taught me, stichometry, chemical equations, gasses, oxidation, valence electrons and VSEPR theory and some more things such as anions, cations and nomenclature.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Tutoring, suggested reading and tips help and always read and have a planner to keep up with assignments , labs and quizzes

    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this class, especially if you plan to go premed or into the science field in general. The professors are willing to help you complete the lab if the instructions aren't clear. There are prelabs for the course that really help give a general insight for the lab you're going to do. The professors even give you a whole week to complete the lab and the prelab.

    Course highlights:

One experiment I really enjoyed was the acids and bases lab. Watching all the different combinations of acids and bases produce a color change or a precipitates was a lot of fun. One thing I believe everyone learns in chemistry lab is the precision used in science experiments. Every measurement counts, every drop of liquid counts to getting the most accurate results. In the classroom, you don't really understand the precision used, but once you enter the lab, you really comprehend it.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to do the prelab before going to lab. The professors will not let you participate in the lab and you will get a zero for that particular lab, which really damages your grade.
