    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor Deignan has every intention to teach his students well, but does not know how to deliver information effectively. His tests are not like any material he gives as homework or in class. Take a different professor if at all possible!!

    Course highlights:

I learned that reading the textbook is absolutely essential!! Do not neglect thorough reading of the textbook, if you can, read it twice.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Put more than the 3 to 5 hours a week into studying for this course if you have Professor Deignan. Read the textbook before lectures and have it open as he lectures so that what he goes over makes more sense. Do lots and lots of example problems besides the ones that he assigns as homework, use textbook examples AND online problems.
