    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I WOULD recommend this class for first timers, because this professor does frankly cover the intro specs to ongoing into the CS category pretty fairly. Prof. Thompson is thorough about each subject and example she follows through with. Pretty Precise beginner teaching.

    Course highlights:

From taking this course i did learn even better understanding of the effects of loops and if based programming, since this was a pretty big teaching area for Prof. Thompson.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Show up, READ your textbook, be energized! (she has a 'flat' tone), study all the 'loop' types and 'if' statements as much as you can (especially nested loops)

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend the course because I did learn a lot of programming and it forced me to read a lot because it was very challenging yet fun

    Course highlights:

The highlights were the programming assignments, they were also quite challenging but once you completed them you felt very confident about the topic

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely read the book and don't slack off, study hard for the tests and watch out for the quizzes
