    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a required course to take for any science major student! Also, it is such a helpful course if you are studying for the MCAT.

    Course highlights:

This class was very useful in teaching me a lot about the mechanisms involved in many of the organic chemistry reactions.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to put a lot of time and effort into this course. It requires a lot of dedication because the best way to succeed is by doing as many practice problems as possible.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I definitely recommend this course because Novak is an incredible teacher! I did terribly in Ochem 1 and I never thought I would enjoy ochem 2. I was proven wrong because Novak is very thorough. Go to his office hours!!!!

    Course highlights:

I learned a whole bunch of reaction mechanisms!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely go to office hours as Novak goes through pretty much everything you need to know during those. And of course, write down everything Novak puts on the projector. Also, practice, practice, practice!
