    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was a lot different than General Chemistry, a lot harder for me personally, but I think the secret here to get a good grade is just to practice a lot. Do all the assigned homework and practice tests, just solve lots of problems and you are gonna ace your exams!

    Course highlights:

This course was concentrated on the ability to solve problems. Predicting reaction products, drawing resonance structures and just finding the most energetically efficient structures of complicated organic molecules are all skills that require lots of practice, and I have partially mastered them during this course. It was difficult but fun to study, since it was much like solving puzzles.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say that the key here is to solve problems as many as possible. Do all the recommended assignments that the instructor gives you, and make flashcards for the reactions that are hard to remember. But do not even try to memorize everything, it's not gonna help. Try to understand how the molecules are structures or how this or the other reactions take place, concentrate on the mechanisms. Understanding those will help you predict the reaction products easily.
