Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Relatively engaging and straightforward. The information is presented well and the class isn't too difficult to study for. Also, online assignments act as grade buffers and there's four total exams, so it shouldn't be too hard to make an A.
The course covers material demonstrating the nature of atoms and compounds alike as well as the interaction they're involved in to create chemical reactions. What I liked however was the information about properties of compounds and the energy attributed.

Advice for students:
Take good notes, attend class, work on aleks assignments, be proactive. Office hours are for your benefit. Do well to study for finals in advance and don't waste your thanksgiving break. Go to PLTL sessions for tutoring if you need extra help.
