    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The class itself is very doable in terms of getting a good grade. The assignments and homework are straightforward and the lectures flow really easily. The presentations and the commentary help improve your oral skills.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course would probably be the first day of class. We happened to walk around and introduce ourselves, making it easier to break the awkwardness. I really enjoy the small classroom discussions, that way everyone can give out their opinion. Through this I was able to learn how to start a conversation and how to elaborate on ideas.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to make the classes. It may be tempting to leave, but this class is intended to help you excel in a very valuable life skill. There is also an attendance grade, which could bump you up a letter grade.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor really cares about the success of each student and will make it clear what is expected on each assignment.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to make speeches more interesting and engaging with the audience. Asking questions, requesting audience participation, and telling stories go a long way in improving speeches.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Practice your speeches! Ask others to watch and critique you. You'll start knowing what's working for you and what you need to improve on. It's easy to not practice enough, but it's nearly impossible to practice too much.
