    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    Really good introduction to database. Not code oriented so no programming knowledge is needed. Just basic sql is taught.

    Course highlights:

    Strong basic knowledge in database design. Normalization, Functional dependencies.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Really need to pay attention to lectures. Need to practice a lot to really get a good understanding.

    Course Overview:

    He is the best professor for this subject as he covers all important topics in an easy way. He is not strict with assignments but his projects are tough and they make ready for real world assignments.

    Course highlights:

    confidence in databases, ability to complete programming project

    Make sure you keep attension in classes and do your work regularly.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

    Its a good course and required as a pre -req for the Big data course. I strongly recommend taking this course in the first semester.

    Course highlights:

    Basic Database properties. ACID properties Normal forms. SQL queries. PL SQL. Triggers. Cursors. And many basic database design concepts.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Dont miss the classes and the exams are very simple. The practice sessions are really good to catch up on the topics and get some practical experience working with Databases.
