    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would absolutely recommend this course. The essays were challenging, but they stretched my brain and I learned a lot about my personal writing skills. I loved the professor and her witty sarcasm. Her accent makes her seem somewhat intimidating, but she is a lovely person. I would rate the course as a 9/10. It was a great experience.

    Course highlights:

I really did like most of the essays that were were assigned. I had to dig deep into my mind to find the words I needed to write the essays, but they were fun to write. I learned a lot about writing and how to create good paragrapgh structure, topic sentences and much more.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Whatever you do, do not procrastinate writing the assigned essays. Give yourself time to write the essays, proofread and fix. Also, always take advantage of the rewriting period after she gives the essay a grade. She gives a three week period to rewrite the essay for a higher grade after every essay.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Although this was a very helpful course, it is a lot of hard work. Definitely do not go into this course expecting an easy A, it takes time, work, and thoughtfulness.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to think more critically and to better articulate my ideas to be more persuasive and to be more detailed in my thought processes.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to work hard and go into the professor's office hours to discuss what your paper needs improvemenent on. She is super helpful and insightful. Also take advantage of the revisions she allows her students to turn in.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Love the professor! Very hands on and group style teaching. The class consisted of readings due each class and small papers that combined together for larger papers. The class is based off your papers mostly.

    Course highlights:

No test were given in the class and thus the papers carried the most weight.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Makes sure to have your papers proof read prior to submission. Very tough grader.
