    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Thoennes is incredibly passionate about teaching theology, tells interesting stories, and is an inspiring professor overall.

    Course highlights:

Doctrine of God, man, and Christ. One important thing that you learn is how to explain your beliefs in a concise statement-this is what you do in the creeds.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Write down the main points of the lectures. You will be tested on the concepts and ideas you go over in class, not just what's in the course pack.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Intriguing, eye-opening, and entertaining... Professor Williams really engages this course material, which makes it engaging to the students.

    Course highlights:

My highlight of the course was when Professor Williams assigned us to meditate on certain passages for a certain amount of weeks. Though there was a paper reflection assignment due at the end of the period, I enjoyed having that time meditate and eventually memorize passages and chapters in the Bible. I have recalled those passages on occasion for situations of encouragement‚Äč.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Attend each class, and bring your course pack and Bible, and READ the MATERIAL. The book which is asked to be read can be a tough read and hard to understand, but in class, Professor Williams allows his students to ask questions about the material read. The best part about this is that he puts the effort into answering each question to the very end in order for the student to have full understanding.
