    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this class to anyone who wants to become very strong in their chemistry skills. This class is rigorous, but totally possible to pass if you put in the time outside of class. Chang is a great professor who truly knows his stuff.

    Course highlights:

My highlights of this course were getting to learn from Dr. Chang. He is truly a great chemistry professor!

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

You need to be disciplined to succeed in this class. In order to do well on quizzes/ midterms, DO PRACTICE PROBLEMS & DO ALL OF THE HOMEWORK.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Most people are required to take this class, so you just have to stick it out! But if you don't have to take it, I definitely wouldn't recommend it. There is SO much work. The exams are really hard. Most people said they couldn't grasp the information well from the professor.

    Course highlights:

Well you learn everything about Chemistry!! And if you like this, then this is the class for you!

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to put in a lot of work. Go to the office open hours with the professor to ask for help on concepts you don't understand. Read the book!

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course if you are seriously interested and/or invested in the field of Chemistry. The course is incredibly rigorous and requires a lot of hours of work. The material is crazy interesting if Chemistry is what you are interested in, but if not then you probably won't enjoy the class.

    Course highlights:

I learned perseverance that's for sure. Don't underestimate the course, it's difficult and requires your time.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Start studying from day one, and if you can read the first chapter before you get to class.
