Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Shine was a great professor. He looks kind of mean, but he is funny and nice. If you need help he is willing to help.

    Course highlights:

This class was about the federal government, so we covered everything from the revolution to the modern presidency.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the readings and study ahead of time. The way his tests are set up, short answers and defining, you can not study the night before.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this course simply because everything that is discussed is important towards our future. Not to mention, Dr. Vardy truly lends his hand out to anyone who is in need of help understanding the text. With this course, you get a better look on your future and how the government has a strong influence on our lives and Dr. Vardy is a great teacher that is really easy to follow. Just like any other teacher, his intentions are for students to be successful.

    Course highlights:

Taking this course, I learned that there is more to the Constitution than your basic freedoms, the intentions of the founding fathers, all of the information about what a president’s power is, what Congress’ powers are, what the vice president’s role is in Congress, and many more! There is a lot more to Government than just the president. This course is so interesting!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

With every course, you need to be organized, with this class especially. Reading the textbook is required and turning papers in early boosts you grade by 20 points. In addition, if you show up to class every day, at the end of the semester he will add 5 points to your overall grade. If that is not motivation to take this class I do not know what is! All joking aside, this course needs a lot of work put into it, but then again, what course does not need tons of effort? Long story short, take this course, I guarantee you will succeed in it.
