    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It is a good introductory course; however, Ms. Meador is a very scatterbrained person. Her lectures, notes and the textbook almost never align and it is often frustrating trying to find answers to the study guide when the class doesn't have all of the information.

    Course highlights:

At the end of this course, I left with a good base understanding of basic biology concepts which prepared me to take BIOL 1407 this coming semester.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Type your notes from the textbook and use her lecture notes as a guide. Draw pictures and ask questions, she likes people who are active participants in the classroom.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Bouma is an awesome instructor. She is passionate about what she teaches and makes it interesting. If you have questions or concerns she is always willing to help.

    Course highlights:

The human body and basic biology of the human body

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Sit in the front and don't be scared to ask questions.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend but with another teacher, she teaches it well and with detail but she has no joy into the subject.

    Course highlights:

the division of cells and what stages they go through. what atoms are made of etc.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

study and take time with it. don't give up, biology may be boring, but when the professor goes into detail it becomes interesting.
