Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Birmingham was by far my favorite teacher. She's passionate about what she does and truly cares about the students. She wants everyone to succeed and provides many opportunities to get grades, including several extra credit opportunities.

    Course highlights:

The concepts discussed in the class were very interesting, and Professor Birmingham provides lots of real-life examples to help the class understand better. This class helped me to think about society in a very different way and encouraged me to be open-minded to the various ways in which cultures think and act. She prepares powerpoints but a lot of class time was spent having group discussions, which is a great way to learn.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the reading, it will only help you. Go to class, that's really the best way to learn and the concepts covered are very interesting so it's worth it to go. Work hard on the projects, and don't be afraid to ask questions because she is so willing to help. Go to the review sessions for tests.
