Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it helps expand your knowledge on the best book in the whole world. Brother Farnes was amazing and helped you understand the Book of Mormon with a whole new perspective.

    Course highlights:

I learned to understand the Book of Mormon from a scholarly point of view. It helped me see some principles that I had never before seen. We had to write an essay about one of the themes in the Book of Mormon and I had never before thought about it having themes at all. It was really neat to learn in this course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just read the Book of Mormon, do the quizzes, and pay attention in class. You'll do great. It isn't hard to succeed in this course as long as you do your part of the work.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Hank Smith was an incredible teacher. He really knew the Book of Mormon and was able to relate to the audience. He taught me concepts I had never considered or noticed. He was funny and genuine. He made the Book seem more real and true.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed learning different themes in the Book of Mormon. He pointed out things that I never noticed. There are patterns in the book that are so intricate that there's no way a 14 year-old-boy (Joseph Smith) could have made them up himself. Brother Smith really helped me see those.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the assigned readings beforehand. If you don't, you won't get as much out of the course.
