Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it! If you enjoy learning about diet and nutrition this course will be great. Summer course is pretty fast-paced, so be sure to have time to study quite a bit. There is a lot of reading, but you learn a lot.

    Course highlights:

You learn how to better take care of your body and food preparation to receive the greatest amount of nutrition. You also learn what complimentary foods that are very beneficial to you. It's great to know how to better take care of your body.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you take it over the spring or summer, be sure to give a lot of time to it and if you do not understand something ask the TA's or the professor about it. Even if you do well on the learning outcomes, you should expect to know more outside of that through the readings and activities you do in order to do well on the exams.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I loved this course because it taught information that is very relevant to my life. It also helped me choose to be a nutritional science major.

    Course highlights:

I loved the lectures because Dr. Christensen is very entertaining. I learned about vitamins, minerals, and macro nutrients. I loved that we learned about myths that are common about nutrition.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book. The book teaches you everything you need to know. If you do well on the quizzes with no help from the book you should be fine.
