Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it (especially to new coming freshman) because it really helped me thing about the way I hold myself when presenting to a class. It also created a safe environment to practice public speaking, where meaningful feedback was given.

    Course highlights:

I learned not to take the criticism of classmates too seriously, but there was still important feedback to be had. This class also helped me learn the importance of working with a professor to make little changes so I could turn out the best product possible.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say, keep an open mind. A lot of my fellow students in this class had the idea they could just fly under the radar because they felt they were already good public speakers. They didn't get as much out of the class as those who were there to learn. So keep an open mind and come ready to learn.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class changed my major therefore my future.

    Course highlights:

I learned that schooling can actually be enjoyable and you can find a major that you can be really great at.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Try hard, you'll get results. It requires a lot of time and effort but it'll be worth it because then you'll kill it.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Useful class and good teacher, a good learning environment in a small class where you can truly grow

    Course highlights:

Preparing and giving the different required speeches not only for yourself but so that others could learn about or from you

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are not very good at public speaking then get a friend and just talk to them about a subject over and over again
