Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It goes over the basics of accounting in an entertaining way. It has made me realise accounting is in almost every business decision. I can now look at a balance sheet and income statement and understand it. If you are wondering if you like accounting or not this is the class you should take to find out.

    Course highlights:

The accounting course taught me to analyse business forms and come up with an idea that affects business decisions. I want to run my own business some day and I never thought accounting would be one of the keys to running it. I learned things in the class that I will use for the rest of my life.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you don't know if you like accounting or not this course is the perfect way to poke your head in and see what it is all about. Do the homework and all the quizzes. There are a lot of activities that require talking to others. Be ready to talk to others.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is one that requires your time and effort. You cannot succeed in this class without honest effort, which includes going to the TA lab, talking with the instructor, studying with your peers. I found it incredibly helpful to create habits and patterns for study in this class because 50% of this class is self taught through the software.

    Course highlights:

I learned more about myself primarily: study habits, my dedication, and my ability to retain information. I also learned all about the language of business! Accounting 200 is an amazing class which opens your mind to the world of business.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of the material! Do your best to not fall behind and find peers to study with.
