Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I learned a lot in this class and had an amazing professor. Throughout the course we read several books, some related to ethics within a business and others to how we interact with each other. I wish I had known how much reading it would be before I went into the class but it was totally worth it. Every day in class we discussed in small groups what we had read since we last met and shared questions and insights we had noticed so that I not only learned when I read but I also got insights from other students. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn about ethics and interacting with others.

    Course highlights:

Throughout the course, we would do ethics labs, which were activities that challenged how you thought and the choices you made. It one lab, you got extra according to the number of sticks you had at the end of class, but if everyone worked together and ended up with the same amount then we all got double the extra credit. However, some people choice to work for themselves and didn't cooperate. I learned a lot about how people think, how I think, and how to reconcile the differences in our approaches.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say that there is a lot reading and to not procrastinate your reading until right before class. There is so much to learn and if you rush through it, you won't get everything out of the class that you want to.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class is pretty easy and you learn a lot. You get into discussion groups and have to read a book about leadership or social improvement about once a week. Basically every class you just discuss the books. It's a great way to meet some new people and fill out your requirements for engineering. There is only one project that we work on throughout the semester, but it isn't too hard either.

    Course highlights:

I loved being able to meet new people. You are put into groups for the assigned reading and you spend a lot of time with them. I also learned a lot about leadership. We read a lot of books so you take out of it what you want to. Also there is a lot about how to be a successful business man, improving personal qualities, working in teams, overcoming social problems, etc.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you show up to class and read the books, you will be just fine in the class.
