    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    Excellent real world application that is critical to having students save money, understand the world market, and contribute to society.

    Course highlights:

    I learned the power of compound interest, the importance of saving early, and how to spend money wisely.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Practice the problems he gives for homework, understand how to use a financial calculator, and read the textbook!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    Besides this class being a prerequisite for the business school, I highly recommend this professor. He makes a hard and grueling class enjoyable and learnable. All of his class information is easily accessible and he is a very personable professor that takes a genuine interest in his students.

    I learned the basic principles of finance.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Work hard and love what you do. The workload is a lot, but doable.

    It gives good insight to how our financial system works and helps you apply knowledge to improve your personal finances.

    Course highlights:

    I learned the best ways to save for my future, how to value companies, and how to understand the current stock market.

    Advice for students:

    Students should do the readings, go to class, do practice tests multiple times, and look for other practice tests from other universities.
