    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course requires a lot of time and dedication regardless of who your professor is. Professor Budd is a sincere lady and tries to make sure everyone understands. It is very structured, which helps to keep the assignments organized.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was just to see an overall increase in my understanding. I knew nothing about accounting or money management before taking this course. Now I feel like I can carry on a conversation about business fairly well.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to watch all of the Norm Nemrow software. He teaches the material in a fun and easy way to understand. Also the gold sheets that are passed out at the beginning of class are very helpful!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Accounting is the "language of business", meaning if you aspire to work in the business field at all in your career, accounting will be a huge asset to your success. Taking this class from Professor Larson has been absolutely eye opening and amazing how she has helped our class understand and apply the principles of accounting.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course are honestly what you personally take from the material if you do all you can to best understand the principles being taught. As I have taken this class and gone into the world of seeking a career and doing internships while I am still in school, the things that I learned in ACC 200 have been key to my understanding what employers are wanting and looking for in the field of business. The greatest highlight is in the way that Professor Larson teaches the material so that it enables us as students to go into the world to make a difference and an impact.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice that I would give, would be to really be discipline in your studies and in the material that is given outside of class. If you are not discipline and not willing to give at least 9 hours a week to understand those things necessary to do well, then dont waste the time of your classmates nor the time of Professor Larson. This course is tough, so if you are interested, give it your all.
