    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course from Professor Stice because he makes it fun and entertaining. Trust me, Accounting isn't always the most fun or exciting class out there, but Professor Stice makes it seem fun and applicable to real life.

    Course highlights:

From taking this course I gained a basic understanding of the accounting world. Though I am not going into accounting, I can see that my knowledge will be helpful in ANY business setting.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Go through the practice tests MULTIPLE TIMES. If I could retake this course, I'd be sure to go through the practice tests often. I'd make sure to know them front and back. When going through them, I'd be sure to recognize the key concepts of each question and make sure I knew those concepts, and not just the question at hand.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course requires a lot of time and dedication regardless of who your professor is. Professor Budd is a sincere lady and tries to make sure everyone understands. It is very structured, which helps to keep the assignments organized.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was just to see an overall increase in my understanding. I knew nothing about accounting or money management before taking this course. Now I feel like I can carry on a conversation about business fairly well.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to watch all of the Norm Nemrow software. He teaches the material in a fun and easy way to understand. Also the gold sheets that are passed out at the beginning of class are very helpful!
