    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

IT was an excellent class giving insight into the evolution of cinema and iconic films. Dr. Hudson is passionate and loves his subject and makes the whole class fun and fascinating, even for an engineering student who knows nothing of art.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to look at a work of art and figure out from the symbols and context what message the artist is trying to send. I learned how to think abstractly and not take things at their face value but to look deeper and harder. It was an amazing experience!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say that you get out of this course what you put into it. If you fall asleep every class and don't pay attention to the discussion, you can pass the class but it will be a missed opportunity. I would suggest that you participate as much as possible and go out on a limb in the way that you think about and react to films!
