    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

First and foremost, it is a required class, so for anyone hoping to graduate, I would highly recommend this class! I recommended Professor Karpowitz because he made the otherwise murky experience remarkably enjoyable.

    Course highlights:

This course focused on the basic overall construction of the history of the United States, but it expanded on every little detail that, in High School, had seemed to be of little importance. I learned that my studying skills would always need improving. Especially during the sections where we were learning about war, I learned that there is more to a good GPA than intelligence.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Please, expecially when there is a test coming up, do not slack on note taking. Every little detail could be of utmost importance.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a great class that really makes you think about who we are as a country and what your role as a citizen is. It combines philosophy, history, economics, and civics for an in depth experience regarding what makes America America. It isn't a course you can just fudge your way through however, you do ned to put in a good amount of effort.

    Course highlights:

I had a pretty good background on US history going into this class, but it really helped expand on what I knew. It made me think more about what we as a country believe in and value and helped me figure out what it was i personally believed in.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not wait until the night of to start the essays.
