Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I loved this class! The teacher was passionate about the subject matter, she loved her students. Dr. Birmingham used examples and class discussion to help us really learn and remember the knowledge. The class information was super interesting and applicable to daily life!

    Course highlights:

I can now analyze situations better, I have the right words to describe phenomena going on around me, and honestly, the class provided really great insight into understanding myself and others. It helped make more sense of a lot of things happening all around us too.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Set reminders, then do the quizzes as soon as you can! They are worth a surprising amount, and then you can use them as helpful study tools come exam time. Also, the exams are comprehensive, so really look at all the study guides (she provides an outline for each). Make sure you understand the concepts that seem similar to each other, and be able to distinguish between them. She will test you on those concepts. Be warned!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Yamawaki really brought interest to this course. She is a social psychologist, so she brought up interesting studies done, and would always tell us stories that helped us to understand the concepts.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about social psychology and how people work. I learned a lot about how we as humans tend to judge without having information, and how psychology explains a lot of humanity's quirks.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the textbook. You won't get on with the lectures alone.
