Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I loved this class! The professor and the TA's were very enthusiastic and passionate about the course and I learned so many new things.

    Course highlights:

I learned where all the different religions are concentrated in the world and I learned about some of the most important world conflicts, both recent and historic.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to read all the assigned textbook readings and spend time memorizing maps.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It was pretty easy. But I felt like the class and the test had no correlation. There was a disconnect there. All we did was memorize a list of questions that he gave us. And there was not really a review for it.

    Course highlights:

The professor is a world traveler- so his stories are exciting. We were able to have a writing assignment about something that we were genuinly interested in.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say, if you really want to learn about the world then apply yourself. If you are just trying to get by and get the GE credit- you really don't have to do much. Pay attention to his lectures- attend class. Since he does test on the lectures. You'll have a good time.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

You get an overall understanding of the world and it is basic knowledge you should have of the worlds politics and geography.

    Course highlights:

I learned and memorized where every single country is located and the significance of location.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Actually do the reading and do the practice maps.
