Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course. This course brings to light many things that a lot of people haven't considered. The teacher does a great job of balancing between doctrine and possibility. This course encourages critical-thinking and learning to dive-deeper into the text. If you are seeking for a deeper understanding of the Book of Mormon, and how it applies to our lives today, this course is for you.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was the in-class discussions. The teacher allowed free speech and sharing of ideas and concepts. He validated others opinions and took information and taught us to look at different perspectives. He educated us and this allowed us to expand our understanding on certain subjects. Through the in-class discussions I learned how to analyze literature and pull for a deeper meaning.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give to students considering this course is to have read the Book of Mormon before starting this class. Since this class focuses a lot of details as well as general understandings, it is best to be educated on the book itself first. The course is built with the idea that the students have already read the book. It is easier to dig deeper and understand concepts when you have already been educated on the basics. This is not a basics course.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

So this is a new class and I was in the first group but it was good. As long as you do the work you can get an A. Lots of extra credit was offered and there are many alternatives to change the grading rubric.

    Course highlights:

I learned about certain doctrines of the Book of Mormon. Most Book of Mormon classes start from the beginning and go to the end but this one jumped around touching on doctrine coming out of the Book of Mormon.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Enjoy it! You'll get as much out of it as you put in it. Go in to learn and not just to get an A and you'll enjoy it a lot more.
