    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This professor is extremely passionate and knowledgeable about his topic, which helps the class be much more enjoyable for the students. He brings a lot of different elements into his teaching, whether it's by playing audio clips, or bringing instruments to class to demonstrate historical music forms. This course helped teach students about the History of Jazz, and the influence it has on American culture. The professor does a very good job of providing necessary information to perform well on the exams and quizzes, and gives detailed study guides so that we as students understand what we need to know.

    Course highlights:

I learned all about Jazz music, and how it was born, and brought into America. I learned about different styles and forms, and was introduced to several famous singers and musicians. Some of the highlights were when the professor would bring different instruments to class to demonstrate for us. I would recommend this class to any music lover!

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you memorize the study guides he gives you, because it is all that you are tested on. Take good notes in lecture, and do your book readings.
