    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it, because it had such an in depth look into the development of psychology, from it's philosophical roots to relatively modern theories. I was better able to understand so much of what I was learning about. It really is an important base class that should be taken, because it is the foundation for what psychology was founded on.

    Course highlights:

Highlights included fascinating class discussions, really thinking in depth and understanding each of the concepts. It was nice to truly know the information that we learned, and be able to question it in class. The teacher was very encouraging, and class atmosphere was very enjoyable.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read as much of the book as you can. I learned to skim, and outline important points. Something that would help is writing down main points in a notebook, because sometimes the quizzes were open-note, but not open book. Also write down any questions you have, it really facilitates classroom discussion.
