    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor Flom is a great teacher. During class, we really just go over power points that are almost copy and pasted from the textbook, with the occasional video. After class is where he becomes a great teacher. He will provide any help you need. He will expertly explain and help you discover the why behind the information. He really helped me understand the material.

    Course highlights:

Psychology is fun and applies in all aspects of life. This course provided me with information that I could almost anywhere. I learned a ton of things about the mind that I loved sharing with others.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your homework, participate in class by asking questions and making comments, and get help from Professor Flom and his TAs.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is amazing!!! I learned a lot about how our minds work and how we can understand the limitations of others, while also understanding how we can understand our own mental and emotional struggles. This class really got me interested in psychology.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course were the presentations about mental disorders. They really opened my eyes about the problems people faced and helped me know how I can help members of my family who struggle with such difficulties.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to want to learn! The reading is important but don't just do it half-heartedly! And participate during the lectures. If you have questions, ask them! That only enhanses the learning experience.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The professor is hilarious and informative, and if you're going to go with a social sciences GE, this one helps you learn more about yourself - and how you work! It's fascinating, and as someone that knows several people with mental illness, knowing how it works and how to respond to it have given me life-long skills.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot of things about how the human body works, and more importantly, why we act the way we do. With this knowledge, I can further expand on my capacities.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't cram - the systems used for this course just don't allow for cramming! It is so much easier to spread out your work and facilitates remembering the materials. I hardly had to study for tests with the work I kept up on to ensure I got the homework done.
