Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is amazing!!! I learned a lot about how our minds work and how we can understand the limitations of others, while also understanding how we can understand our own mental and emotional struggles. This class really got me interested in psychology.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course were the presentations about mental disorders. They really opened my eyes about the problems people faced and helped me know how I can help members of my family who struggle with such difficulties.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to want to learn! The reading is important but don't just do it half-heartedly! And participate during the lectures. If you have questions, ask them! That only enhanses the learning experience.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The professor is hilarious and informative, and if you're going to go with a social sciences GE, this one helps you learn more about yourself - and how you work! It's fascinating, and as someone that knows several people with mental illness, knowing how it works and how to respond to it have given me life-long skills.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot of things about how the human body works, and more importantly, why we act the way we do. With this knowledge, I can further expand on my capacities.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't cram - the systems used for this course just don't allow for cramming! It is so much easier to spread out your work and facilitates remembering the materials. I hardly had to study for tests with the work I kept up on to ensure I got the homework done.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a fantastic class if you are curious about psychology. It gives you a great base of what psych is all about and you learn a lot of really cool things along the way. The professor was great and easy to work with. He is always willing to help. Over all it was a great class.

    Course highlights:

The class is basically an over view of lots of aspects of psychology so you can easily pick out what you want to pursue. You learn a lot of history and theories that the professor makes really interesting. I also found that I learned a lot about day to day applicable psych which was really interesting. my favorite units were when we talked about Freud, we had a really cool section on body language, and abnormal psych.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

GO TO CLASS. There is not much homework with this class so if you don't go to class you will not learn much. the class discussion is always really good too.
