    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I am so grateful for the things I am learning in this class. This class inspired me to pursue an art education minor, so I could continue to teach art. I have developed that belief that I am an artist, when before the class, I never ever would have considered myself an artist.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to use shading techniques to make something look realistic. I learned how to make different forms of art, showing me that not all art has to be realistic, or perfect. This really inspired me to want to share that information with kids, who have started thinking that they cannot draw.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Give your best effort. No matter how hard the assignment may seem, or no matter what you think the final product will be, give your best effort and don't give up. When you try your hardest, and give your best effort, you will do great things.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class was amazing! I never considered myself an artist and found myself wanting to do more with the techniques we were learning. It was great because we talked about how to actually apply what we were learning in an elementary classroom.

    Course highlights:

I learned lots of new art techniques, especially with using watercolors. I learned that everyone can be an artist because everyone has a different perspective on the same subject or topic.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely take it. It's not required for the major, but it such a fun class. I still have all of the materials from the class and would definitely use the art supplies if I had more free time.
