Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I loved this course! It pushed me to think critically and deepened my values.

    Course highlights:

Dr. Nelson loves what he does and that is what makes the course so great! It was incredible to me to learn spiritual things in an intellectual way. It solidified what I already knew and helped me to learn new things as well. I learned a lot about finding doctrines and principles and then taking them and putting them to practice. It to the doctrines and principles away from the culture. I learned how to read a text and apply it to my life. I learned how to let the material change how I viewed things.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the readings. There is something really amazing that happens when you put your time and your effort into learning from the readings. It changes from something being delivered to you, like the lecture, to something you have to figure out on your own. There is a lot of learning that can come from it.

This is a great class that mixes the social science research with the revealed truths of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints according to their doctrine and prophetic teachings

The discussions in this course are amazing. Dr. Carroll is willing to take time and make sure that everyone understands the concepts and has a deeper understandings of the principles he teaches

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the readings and go to class. This is a heavy discussion class, most of which is not on the power points
