    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is really boring. The professor does not help very much

    Course highlights:

The only part of this class that I liked was when we did group talks. If you don't like breaking off into small groups and discussing the class material this class is not for you. Lots of material was covered and you were expected to know all of it for the test. The only good thing was that the final was not comprehensive.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

For a 1010 course, this class was much harder than it needed to be! The teacher was not very much help with anything and does not respond to emails quickly. DO all of the assignments, read the textbook, and study for the tests and you will be alright.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend to everybody interested in art and culture because it's very interesting and very well taught. Buhler is funny and entertaining as well as very intelligent.

    Course highlights:

This class was a really great introduction to art history and western culture since the renaissance. I enjoyed learning about how the people of the time reacted to the art and to new technologies.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to study hard for the tests, likely with flash cards. I used a Pinterest board to memorize the works of art. The book is necessary so have it ready for the first or second week of class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class was amazing. The professor was more than willing to help and she will meet with you even outside of her office hours.

    Course highlights:

Everyday we learned about art and about poems and we learned about the symbols that early people used to describe things.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the reading and meet with the professor. This class really is amazing.
