    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this class if you like biology or just need a biology course! Its definitely not easy and requires hard work but the Smith teaches well and is always willing to answer questions and help in any way he can!

    Course highlights:

You learn a lot about cells! I thought I already knew most everything about cells but there is so much I didn't know! You also learn a lot about DNA and how it works.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take good notes and make sure to listen! Always ask an questions you may have and be sure to take advantage of the professor's office hours.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course. Although difficult, the class offered a lot of useful information and pushed all of the students to work their hardest. The course was basically an intro to biology. It didn't go into depth, but rather scratched the surface on a lot of subjects which sometimes made the class a little confusing.

    Course highlights:

The lectures were always interesting. I learned a lot about many scientists that I had never heard of before, and even learned some fun tidbits on popular scientists.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend that one takes exceedingly good notes on everything the professor says. It would definitely be helpful to find a study group and even make flash cards. Make sure to study a little bit every day instead of just cramming before the tests because there is always a lot of information to process.
