    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was a great class because there is new information that I hadn't previously learned in my AP History classes I had taken in high school. A lot of the information was relevant for what I was learning in another class (HLTH 1110) and I could use the two classes together for a further understanding. The teacher was great too and made it easy to talk to her if there were any concerns. I enjoyed this class immensely.

    Course highlights:

You learn further details about simple things you've always known. For example, one of the things we talked about was when the Spaniards traveled to America and how they treated the Natives who were living here. One of the shocking things was learning how they forced Natives to come unto Christianity by publicly hanging, dragging, and flogging religious leaders and burning symbolic shrines and places of worship. The Natives were an accepting people and welcomed the Spaniards and were willing to apply Christianity into their religion, but not fully convert since their religion was their way of life. This was not acceptable to the Spaniards since they wanted them to completely convert over.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

There's a lot of reading, but it's all worth it. As long as you put in the time and effort, getting a good grade is simple. You'll get to have a better understanding of history which will help understand the current times as well.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class if you are a good note taker, the professor is quick and gives his opinion to the event which will be what he wants to hear on his test, but overall i passed with an A and enjoyed this class.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the different cultures that came across the Atlantic during the building periods of America.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You have to take good notes and pay attention.
