    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course portrays the diversity of America and how that diversity bled into the music that was brought here. It makes you experience music in a different and more intriguing way than ever before!

    Course highlights:

I learned to appreciate music in every diverse genre and understood their backgrounds.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be a sponge and soak up the lessons. Take plenty of notes during the lectures and give yourself enough time to listen to the songs that will be played on the listening test. Other than that, enjoy it.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This is one of my favorite subjects, with an amazing teacher. She took great care to learn each and every one of our names, and she made the subject relate to our world today. The only thing I didn't like was doing a presentation, but that wasn't too bad. Just a short powerpoint with a song to present. Overall, this was a Amazing class!

    Course highlights:

It wasn't just taking about specific songs, it was the backstory and why it is so important and what impact it had on society as a whole. We talked about how we can incorporate this into our current issues we are struggling with today.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

This class was very easy. Go to the classes, do the concert reports, a few papers and the presentation. If you do all of these things you will have an A. If you love music, and want to hear more backstory on how music has shaped our society you should take this course.
