Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It teaches an overall knowledge of psychology, general mental disorders and their characteristics. It teaches general concepts about endorphin's and how the brain processes information.

    Course highlights:

In my desired field of game design this can mean several things. It provides a way to see why people make the choices they do, what may influence their choices. It will also give you more characteristics to focus on in game development. You can create a connection with your players/users by reaching to a specific concept that will strike a chord with them.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I highly suggest that you read over the power points and read the chapter for the upcoming lecture. This way when you are in class you are reviewing and solidifying ideas and concepts and provides you time to come up with questions on specific subject matters.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Katarina is my favorite human. I love her and would take any class she offers. I would take a 4 hour class about anything she taught because she has a way of taking some pretty boring information and making it the most interesting thing. She keeps it interesting and I love her. I also think that the course material is very interesting.

    Course highlights:

I have learned so much in this class. One thing that I really appreciate is learning about memory. Learning about how memory works and how I can better my memory has helped me not only in this class but in all my classes.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Come to class. The in class instruction is so valuable because she is there for you to ask questions and explain things in a way that makes so much more sense than just reading the textbook. Also do the practice in the LearnSmart book. It helps you know what you need to study more.
