    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend this class with this teacher because I feel as though many of the students had a very hard time understanding the concepts he was trying to teach. He'd often make the tests more difficult than the content that he'd actually teach.

    Course highlights:

I got a good grade either way, but it definitely shouldn't have been as difficult to try and get good information out of the teacher.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it with another teacher, I heard great things about other teachers. And just work hard! It is a difficult course even if you have a good teacher! Chemistry is very abstract and you have to learn to think in a different way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

She goes over all the course work with you and will even set aside office hours for you to come and talk with her if you need the extra help. She is very willing to talk with you and very willing to help with emergency situations.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course were to be able to learn how to use the metric system she teaches you in a way that you can really understand it. She also will come up with fun names and different ways of showing you how a concept works so that you can easily remember it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't wait til the last minute to do the work and also do the worksheets multiple times that she gives you so that you can understand everything for the exam.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It provides the foundation for understanding the underlying processes behind chemical reactions that make up our life.

    Course highlights:

I've learned the notation and how to read formulas to put them to practical use.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Tutoring centers and online resources are a must for quickly understanding the principles needed.
