    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Kaye White taught this course for 10 plus years and she has four or five degrees. She taught me how she succeeded in college and what mistakes she made so we don't make the same mistakes. But she also says that you must find methods that help you succeed in college the most. She is always willing to help if you have a question or a problem. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone.

    Course highlights:

This course teaches you what to expect when get into college and how to succeed in college. It helps you recognize what kind of learner you are and how you can utilize your strengths to pass your college classes. I learned how to manage my time better, how to read a text book, and different methods to take notes

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Set aside time to do your homework and actually do it. It is worth doing it because it actually teaches you how to succeed in college. I also recommend that you take notes. Not only will it help you study for the tests and quizzes, but you can go back and review your notes and apply it to your other classes.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

College is a hard transition from high school. EDU 1020 is an excellent class to take for incoming freshman or someone who has taken a break from college. The main purpose of the class is to help students succeed in college and at life.

    Course highlights:

I have never been the best note taker. Through this course, I have found the best way of note taking for me. I have learned how to budget and how to read a textbook and get the most out of it.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would suggest students take this course and have an open mind about it. Some of the topics that were taught would be simply and repetitive if anyone took a class similar to that before.
