    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

    This course focused a lot on book work, but was useful to be able to apply the skills necessary to read an article or essay and then find the information we needed. Seeing the examples of different writings also helped me to improve my own for when we wrote essays.

    Course highlights:

    You get to see a lot of different examples of writing. You also get to write different kinds of papers and learn how to better set them up.

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

    Take the time to pay attention and do the readings. Show up on all the class days, even if it's just a review.

    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    Dr. Fellers is a great professor in the sense that she makes her lectures interesting and teaches with enthusiasm. She also gives you sufficient practice on a certain topic before assigning a large paper or essay that deals directly with that topic. That way you know what you are doing and what is expected for the next assignment.

    Course highlights:

    I learned more in this english class than any other english class I have taken. Not only does Dr. Fellers review citation material but she teaches you how to cite and paraphrase and gives practice assignments that actually help. She also gives very clear instructions for her papers which help a lot when trying to write. I learned how to use effective rhetorical analysis skills and how to develop clear cohesive thoughts about a article I have read.

    Advice for students:

    The most important advice that I can give you is to make sure you attend each and every class. She is very big on participation and if you miss certain days it will hurt your grade more than others. Also she grades your big papers pretty harsh so make sure you spend a significant amount of time on them and follow her instructions very clearly.
