Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The teacher really does care about his students, he tries his best to inform you on things that you will use and that are helpful and really wants to see you succeed!

    Course highlights:

I really learned how I can have a more balanced diet, what was actually "good" for me and "bad" for me, and the importance of moderation.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

His tests are not extremely easy. He will tell you a lot of the information but its not all laid out how he says it is. He will test you on small details and its a heavy information course so get familiar with your flash cards.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is so full of useful, important information that literally will change they way you look at and live your life. It is fun, interesting, and motivating. I want to live a healthier life because I have taken this course. All of the professors in this field are great too. I especially recommend Mr. Schmidt.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to maintain a healthy body weight and to eat a good balanced diet. I learned the benefits of eating nutritious foods and exercising. I learned the importance of vitamins, minerals, water, carbohydrates, proteins, lipids and how all of these play a role in energy balance and health. I learned how to prevent diseases and how to make nutritious food choices.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give is to attend class with an open mind and a willingness to better yourself.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This is an excellent class, whether you are going into nutrition or just want to learn more. Lyman is thorough and always willing to answer questions. She does talk fast, but is very easy to follow. If you pay attention in class you will pass the tests.

    Course highlights:

It was very helpful for a lot of students to learn how to identify good nutrition information versus scams. Which is especially important in this era where nutrition advice is so readily available on the internet, but is also more often than not untrue.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to take notes and pay attention in class. That's all you really need to succeed in this course. If you are ever confused just raise your hand and she will always be willing to answer any questions. You will also need to do the homework every week. The homework is not hard just sometimes time consuming.
