    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This is an excellent class, whether you are going into nutrition or just want to learn more. Lyman is thorough and always willing to answer questions. She does talk fast, but is very easy to follow. If you pay attention in class you will pass the tests.

    Course highlights:

It was very helpful for a lot of students to learn how to identify good nutrition information versus scams. Which is especially important in this era where nutrition advice is so readily available on the internet, but is also more often than not untrue.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to take notes and pay attention in class. That's all you really need to succeed in this course. If you are ever confused just raise your hand and she will always be willing to answer any questions. You will also need to do the homework every week. The homework is not hard just sometimes time consuming.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because the things you learn are things you can use in everyday life. The things you learn are really interesting and you learn a lot of science behind nutrition.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course for me was learning about different kinds of diseases that are nutrition related. I thought it was really interesting to learn what causes different kinds of diseases and how to avoid them.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advise is to make sure you read the book because some of the questions on the test are from the book and not talked about very much in class. Also review the slides she puts on canvas because they are always on the tests.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because of all the application it has. Everything you learn in this course you can apply to everyday life. The teacher teaches you everything you need to learn rather then expecting you to learn everything yourself from the book.

    Course highlights:

I think the most interesting thing I learned was what specific nutrients people need more of at each time yin their lives. And what nutrients are in each kind of food.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you learn all of the vitamins and minerals it will make the class a lot easier.
