    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Renee Dawson is perhaps one of the most thorough professors of her study. Not only this, but she has a passion for student success, and will do whatever she can to ensure her students have access to the tools they need to succeed. She is a firm believer that "no question is a stupid question;" in fact, there were many instances where she paused class in order to expand on a question posed by one of the students in attendance. The course itself also presented much value to be gained. Emphasis was placed most upon understanding the necessary processes and functions a living organism must carry out in order to sustain life. These ranged from photosynthesis to transportation of waste from cells, and everything in between.

    Course highlights:

I gained a broad spectrum of insight into plant and animal cells; specifically, what made up each one and how their individual parts worked together to support the life of the whole cell. I learned about the processes that each cell must go through to synthesize energy to power the basic functions of each cell.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

GO TO CLASS. You will NOT be able to pass this course otherwise. There are valuable notes and discussions you won't be able to find replacements of if you do not attend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Its a doable class but lots of work is required to pass. It does help you to study but I recommend taking this class after you KNOW how to study. It was a helpful class but I wouldn't want to take it again.

    Course highlights:

You feel very accomplished when you are finished with that class. it takes a lot of work and it's hard. Going home after quiz dy was the best. You have a quiz every week and I felt so relieved after them.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the ASQ and study! It take a lot of time but once you get it then it should be a piece of cake. Lectures aren't necessary but go for the clicker points they help a lot
