    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was very challenging for me, but the professor is wonderful. She helped me with my test anxiety and tricks for taking test. She taught me to be confident in what I know and not to put myself down when taking test and to only think positive while taking a test and it will improve your score, which was very true.

    Course highlights:

Passing the final! Especially since I didn't do well on exam two I was so excited when I passed the final. I learned a lot in this course I learned about genetics, translation, replication, and transcription. I learned more about mitosis, meiosis, etc.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to SI meetings, and test review sessions! Once I attended a test review session I felt a lot more confident in what I knew. It helped me a lot on the final. Also do your ASQ almost all of your quizzes are identical to those ASQ and they are a lot of help and great for studying.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class forced an introvert to love and interact with other people while stretching my mind and heart in the medical field! I would highly recommend this class to anyone looking to be inspired by science.

    Course highlights:

I love when we studied pedigree charts. We used crazy examples but it really helped me understand how they worked. The homework was easy to understand because it worked hand in hand with the lectures.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't give up. Ask questions even if you feel you can't form the words. Take advantage of the study sessions and after class aid that the teachers and T.A.'s provide.
