This course contains the fundamentals needed to continue a career in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, and Electrical Engineering. Understanding the concepts around how a computer is organized and how it operates on a high level can better improve your skill set in future classes.
This course requires a lot of conceptual and logical thinking. It brings up many problems with current day problems, as well as solutions for them. I learned everything from performance of processors, how assembly language is connected to a processor, a high level knowledge of how a processor works along with its caches, and parallelism.

Advice for students:
Do not fall behind on assignments. Falling behind on assignments and failing to start them early will not only cost you the grade on the assignment itself, but the concepts you will absolutely need to know for the exams.
